Dr. Michael Fearing

Michael Fearing, Ph.D., R. Psych. is a clinical psychologist who completed his training at Brigham Young University. He also has specialized pre- and post-doctoral training from the Boston Veterans Administration/Harvard Medical School, as well as from Boston Neuropsychological Services.  As a generalist, he specializes in the assessment and treatment of school-aged children, adolescents, adults, and the geriatric population.  More specifically, Dr. Fearing has extensive experience in working with clients with autism spectrum disorders, learning disabilities, ADHD, social-emotional difficulties, including anxiety and depression, PTSD, dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, and co-morbid disorders. Dr. Fearing also has specific training in assessing and treating first responders and military personnel that are suffering from PTSD and underlying psychological and emotional trauma. He utilizes an eclectic approach in providing individual psychotherapy to his clients, and has extensive training and experience in client-centered and cognitive-behavioral therapies.
