Ms. Krista Bloski
Ms. Bloski completed her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology at Adler University in Chicago, IL. and her doctoral internship at the University of Victoria Counselling Services. Prior to joining Vancouver Island Psychological Services, Dr. Bloski worked with children, adolescents, and adults in various settings, including an inpatient psychiatric hospital, forensic/criminal justice organization, community mental health, and a therapeutic day school. Dr. Bloski’s interests and experience are in the assessment and treatment of individuals with anxiety and mood disorders, obsessive-compulsive related disorders (including body-focused repetitive behaviors), acute and traumatic stress (PTSD), as well as individuals exploring their identity, gender, and/or sexuality. Her primary orientation is cognitive-behavioral therapy, and she also draws from psychodynamic and relational models, mindfulness-based practices, as well as dialectic behavior therapy to tailor therapy to each individual client and their unique needs.
Ms. Bloski has applied for registration with the College of Psychologists of B.C. and will be working under the supervision of a registered psychologist until the registration process is completed.
