Dr. Jill Robinson
Dr. Jill Robinson completed her doctoral training in Clinical Psychology at the University of British Columbia Okanagan Campus. Dr. Robinson provides evidence-based psychological intervention services to adults at Vancouver Island Psychological Services. Dr. Robinson specializes in treatment for individuals experiencing anxiety disorders and anxiety-related distress, obsessive-compulsive disorder, depression, substance use, abuse, and trauma. Dr. Robinson practices from a cognitive behavioural framework and employs Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy to best serve the unique needs of those she works with.
In addition, Dr. Robinson is employed as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Victoria where she teaches courses on mental health and wellbeing, clinical psychology, and psychotherapy. Dr. Robinson is currently in the process of applying for registration with the College of Psychologists of BC. During this process, she provides psychological services under the supervision of a Registered Psychologist at VIPS.
