Dr. Leah Hatton

Dr. Hatton’s particular interests and experience are in the assessment and treatment of adults with anxiety and mood disorders, traumatic and critical incident stress, relationship problems, and low self-esteem. In addition to doing work with individuals and couples, she also facilitates groups for individuals with depression and posttraumatic stress disorder. Her primary clinical orientation is cognitive-behavioural; however, she uses other approaches, such as interpersonal process, when appropriate. Dr. Hatton has a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Saskatchewan. She completed her doctoral internship training at the Calgary Consortium in Clinical Psychology in Alberta. Prior to joining Vancouver Island Psychological Services in 2010, she worked for the Saskatoon Health Region. Dr. Hatton is registered to practice in the Province of British Columbia (#1906).
