Dr. Robert Holloway

Psychologist

Dr. Holloway is a clinical psychologist who works with adults, couples, and families experiencing trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, stress, and major life transitions. He practices from a trauma-informed, integrative psychodynamic and family systems perspective, understanding psychological difficulties as shaped by both individual experiences and the relationships in which people live. This approach allows treatment to focus not only on reducing distress, but also on the deeper emotional and interpersonal patterns that contribute to ongoing distress.

During his doctoral training at Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia, Dr. Holloway developed specialized experience in treating trauma in adults and working with couples, families, and individuals from diverse backgrounds. Since coming home to BC, he has also developed extensive experience providing police officers and other trauma-exposed professionals with psychotherapy, psychoeducation, consultation, and on-site support within police departments.

In addition to psychotherapy, Dr. Holloway provides comprehensive psychoeducational, ADHD, and personality assessments. His assessment approach is collaborative, flexible, thorough, therapeutic, and designed to provide meaningful recommendations rather than just a diagnosis.

Regardless of the reason for referral, Dr. Holloway emphasizes building a strong therapeutic relationship and tailoring treatment to each individual's strengths, goals, history, and circumstances.

Dr. Holloway is licensed to practice in the Province of British Columbia.
