Rachel Holloway
MSW, RSW
Rachel obtained a Master of Social Work degree with a specialization in health, disabilities, and aging from Rutgers University in 2012. She spent over seven years working in a skilled nursing facility as a social worker and director where she worked with clients facing issues including: new and/or chronic health issues, depression, anxiety, chronic pain, cognitive decline, loss and grief. She also has experience working in outpatient community mental health where she facilitated groups and provided individual support to adults with mental illness and substance abuse disorders.
Rachel takes a collaborative approach to therapy utilizing cognitive behavioural, family systems, and solutions focused interventions. She enjoys working with people throughout the lifespan and places emphasis on the needs, strengths, interests, and goals of each individual.
